Dear Ones,
August has been beautiful at Windermere! We've been blessed with wonderful folks visiting and volunteering at the ranch.
In Mid-August, Milo and LeiLani, our new Ranch Managers, led a Work Party which was a lot of fun and very productive. Here's a nice write-up by David Whitaker about the Work Party:
We gathered for a Windermere work party on August 17th and removed the decades-old and very stinky carpet from the barn.
I created a time-lapse video of the carpet removal process. If you watch the video, make sure to notice the carpet is getting rolled up from the floor to reveal clean concrete underneath. The floor even has drains!
One thing that I really enjoyed about the work party was the multiple generations of Windermere hands coming together. I felt a great camaraderie and a shared love for Windermere.
