Wow, July has been an amazing month at the ranch! We've had cool days with fog, followed by a heat wave, and currently we are enjoying our usual summer weather with highs in the 80's and 90's.
Dave Wright, has shared a wonderfully insightful article, with an interesting perspective about Windermere.
At the beginning of July, a fire started in Goleta, which is straight down the mountain from Windermere. Strong winds and high temperatures caused the fire to spread rapidly, destroying 10 homes and 14 additional structures. Fortunately, Windermere remained safe and sound.

As of this writing, there are numerous wildfires burning in California, including the Ferguson Fire near Yosemite. Currently, the Ferguson Fire is 30% contained and has burned over 53,000 acres.
According to the Mother Lode News, "The Ferguson Fire is one of 17 large active fires currently burning in California. 12,000 firefighters are assigned to incidents in the state and the fires have burned a combined 200,000 acres. The largest fire remains the Carr Fire near Redding that has burned over 89,000 acres and is only 5-percent contained."
Please send Light for the Highest Good to all the fires, and to all concerned, in California and all other places.
I thought it would be fun to share some photos of flowers that are in bloom at the ranch this time of year. As you can see, there is an array of colors, with predominantly yellow, gold and red flowers now.
