Visiting
Windermere
Windermere is
a special place. We welcome our donors and people interested in
IIWP to visit the property. Since we only have a small staff, it
is very helpful if you call several days in advance of a visit.
That way we can plan on your visit and greet you personally when
you arrive.

If you find
yourself nearby and would just like to "drop in" please do. While
advance notice is helpful, it is not necessary. When you arrive,
park in the assigned area and walk down the road to a red phone
box. Pick up the phone and check in with us so that we know you
have arrived.

Suggestions
The weather
at Windermere can vary widely both in the summer and winter. The
temperature up here may be different than what it is at sea level.
Some suggestions are to bring:
- Close-toed
shoes
- Long pants
- Jacket and
layered clothing
- Hat
- Gloves
- Sunscreen
